Moises Rupinski: Home is where the Heart is!
Roland Stampley: I am Christian and I home-school so I don't have issues to post. Where I live the public school system that educated me is not the same today. I won't leave it up to others to educate my child not only for moral reasons, but also for many other reasons such as historical falsification in text books and not enough of the basics of the 3 Rs being taught in the public school curriculums. Where I am, 8th graders are just starting to learn things we covered in 4th grade. Too much focus on state testing....Show more
Ruthe Real: home schooling children is a smart thing to do I'm not I'm in class right now but being home schooled you can add in the teachings of Christ our lord and savior
Dorinda Metzer: If you are committed to giving them the same quality of education as well as committed to enhancing their socialization skills outside of a school environment then go for it. Do not make this dec! ision out of fear. Make this decision once you are 100% confident that you can offer a better option. Make sure you can offer them all the appropriate curriculum that a public school would, and that you will socialize them in other ways. Keeping them at home will not protect them. Part of schooling is having your kids learn how to find their own way in the world and make their own choices. However, school is NOT the only place they can do this. Make sure they are involved in other activities where they get to be with kids their own age, such as sports, camps, boyscouts, music, pottery class, or whatever... Prepare yourself....Show more
Margy Sandquist: The only thing they miss is the social interaction. School friends are important for children.
Derrick Smsith: I'm for it because public schools (not saying all of them) are becoming even more ungodly and they teach evolution. Not to mention the number of school shootings and prayer being removed. I think it would! be safer to teach your child at home and teach them the ways ! of Jesus.
Jules Ashbach: I think it's great, an option to private schools. Public schools aren't very good in my state (CA) and I don't think we're alone.
Davida Gisriel: Send him off to public school, he'll be fine.
Ronny Nowzari: What about Zeus' morals? Doesn't He have a say in this?
