I recently started selling cars why does everybody have this terrible attitude toward me all of the sudden.?

Lucrecia Laurito: I am not worried about what people think I would like to let people know that percentage wise there are the same number of crooks selling cars as there are in any other business most of us are just honest hard working people trying to make a living.

Monty Sieloff: It goes way back to the early years of car sales! In the auto infancy years, there were NO regulations on car sales, so "fly-by-night" dealers would travel from town to town selling cars, then move-on. Roads wern't paved, car making wasn't an art or science, like today, and there were a lot of "Independent-Makers" who made parts by hand, so when a part failed or broke, where could you get a replacement for it?The three most "Hated" services(jobs) are: lawyers, towing companies, and car sales.I guess it is a stereotype for us as humans to "hate" to pay or spend that much money on a service that can help us, get out of trouble, or just get around.Be yourself and don't fret, a good warm atti! tude at your job, will go a long way. Remember: First impressions are what most people remember! So if you present a good, caring, and helpful impression to your customer, they will not feel uncomfortable around you, and will give you a good attitude back!Good Luck! I hope you sell 50 cars a month at your job!!...Show more

Ariel Arons: When you do these charity walk/cycle things, you ask your friends to contribute money to the cause in exchange for your walking/cycling. My question is: why would your friends contribute money to a good cause just because you walked or cycled? If they want to contribute money to a good cause, that's great. But I don't see why they'd do it only if you walk or cycle. But they do.

Jed Mutone: because...........just.......because

Rubye Bonnin: 2

Lionel Tanen: ~~I know alot of salesmans personally and I notice the reason why people give out bad attitudes are because they try to make the person look bad and get a better! deal! Dont let them get to you! You are the one who wants to ! make the money, they just think you may be lying about the cars or the price is to high lower it! Just do your job and keep giving them best deals u can!!~~

Russel Gajate: Question: Do you know how to tell when a car sales person is lying to you?Answer: When their lips are moving. That is the reason for the attitude toward you now that you are selling cars. ( :

Autumn Vacio: I don't know but you are kind of pissing me off!

Rocio Karvis: Because society views car salesmen as slime. Try not to be pushy or a jerk, and you will earn people's trust.

Francisco Schonhardt: Like for a charity they said I should cycle from Edinburgh to London, what I don't understand is how do these charity walks and things raise money? the entrance cost is 100 pounds but they want me to raise 2000. I don't understand

Dawn Saha: Babysitting kids that can be a job yu can do at home and yu get paid for it.

Roland Stampley: Freebie sites are a great way to make money! . You just complete one offer and refer others. Most of these sites pay daily. It's not hard or complicated and you can start making money right away.http://highonfreebies.squarespace.com/blog/can-i-m...

Jose Bouliouris: Cos they think you only want to make money, which is all they want too, so it's ok, people look down on everyone that's not like them, carsalesmen are simplpy in the public eye more. Cheer up love and enjoy those sales you make!!!

Hal Rouse: golden it is probably your attitude going in that makes people treat you that way try going in with a friendly attitude i bet you get ttreated a lot differently

Dorine Nurre: maybe they think your job is not good enough???? well at least u are working so who cares what everyone thinks

Jarrod Darnall: Have you never bought a car???If you have bought a new car or probably a used car too, car salesman are the sleaziest most dishonest characters that I always dread buying a new car.I go in tough, te! ll them this is what I want, can you work with me?I take charge and ove! rwhelm them. It sucks to have to have a strategy to go out and spend all that money on a car.It is one thing to spend the money. That is enough to make one uneasy, having to put up with lying and underhanded dealings make it even worse, and I am sure one of the most unpleasant experiences most people have to deal with.Sorry, you asked....Show more

Julieta Suleiman: that whole gas price thing has gotten everyone in a tizzy.are u a used car salesman? there is a stereotype about used car salesmen.. scuzzballs.

Chadwick Schmelz: Because now you will be perceived as DISHONEST

Cherlyn Tefera: What i suggest is you make some of your best baches and take them around to cafes . ask to speak to the manager and explain to them that you ahve been told you can make the besat biscotti anyone has ever tasted. Then they may let you wrap it up in cellophane bags and put it at the counter. You would ofcorse have to give them a fair chunk of the profit , but for a little b! it of baking it may be worth it.

Marylee Lucks: Car salesmen, particularly used-car salesmen, have a bad rep. You will have your work cut out for you to overcome this.

Toby Caswell: Are they used cars? No wonder. New car salesman are almost as bad though.Car salesmen get that reputation because they mostly deserve it. What makes for good business, makes for a lousy personality.I've bought 2 cars in my lifetime and these are the faults of those two salesman:Ford salesman: very pushy, asked the "What will it take to get you into this car today?" question after I explicitly said I was not signing today, he asked a small talk question and I gave an unexpected answer, he kept on chattering as if I gave the standard answer, obviously not listening. At least he didn't lie (that time).Toyota salesman: although he was not pushy (he had the soft approach), he lied to me when he said there'd be NO extra charges and the price was $17500 FINAL. Get in the back and I'm slappe! d with an extra $350. He also said it was the last day of the 2.9% fin! ancing and I'd miss out and who knows when it'll be back. Guess what? It was back the next month. And the next. And the next. And the next. F*cking liar.If you don't use the slimey techniques, you probably won't sell very well. If you use the slimey techniques, people won't respect you very much but you'll be the #1 salesman. If you don't like it, do another kind of selling.edit:I'm sure the reason new car salesmen are perceived better because they have a much higher quality product. Used cars are always treated with suspicion, and thus the person selling them. The buyer is always thinking "So, what's the problem with this car? Why did someone sell it if it's such a great car?"....Show more

Eleni Mccier: I make some of the best biscotti anyone who has tasted it has ever had. I will make 2 batches (about 36 biscotti) 3 people will eat them all in about 2 hours. I brought some to my old boss (an elderly man who lived in Italy his whole life) and even he thought they we! re amazing. I am in college and cannot afforded car insurance so it is hard to have a job because I already spend an hour and a half on the bus for school and back. I need to save up some money for clothes for school and hopefully overtime to be able to pay for my car insurance. Do you think cafes would by biscotti/cookies/bars from someone else than a big company? Does any1 else know how I could sell my treats and make some much needed money? I made a website for my treats, anyone have a next step I can take to sell my treats. Any help would be amazingly appreciated!...Show more

Cherry Stampka: not sure. Have you started acting like a jerk?

Keneth Mailhot: I sold cars for two years. It sucks that people are stupid and ignorant and they think all sales people, esp car sales, are liars and cheats, so they will treat you differently. Even you own family and friends. After a while they come around cause they see your not a liar or a cheat, but still. It's just a st! ereo type, and it really is interesting to see how many people who say ! they aren't raciest or that they don't prejudge, actually do.

Nadia Crauswell: I have no idea. Maybe they're jealous that you have a good job and they don't. Maybe it's because some people have a preconceived notion that all car salesman are sleazy because of how they're portrayed in movies and on TV. Either way, you might just start meeting new people. These people sound like they're being very shallow and you don't need them.

Len Dalba: does anyone work from home and make money? i really just want extra cash Not a full time job or anything. any suggestions? i'm open to anything! THANKS!
