computers vs human?

Michelle Sohre: big time yes a computer is faster that why people are a fraid they will lose thire job by a computer.

Mark Villifana: It depends entirely on the task. Computers are fast at certain kinds of things but still nowhere near as useful as the human brain. For me, I find that I spend an infuriating amount of time waiting for computers to do this or that - that surely proves that computers are not very fast.

Gordon Showes: most definently A computer can compute and calculate hundreds of times faster then humans, it depends on the job you are trying to do. that would change the answer. if you want to paint a picture of a mountain then I would say go with the human.

Andrew Sinatra: there are few things computers can do faster than humans.. faster dont mean better..or faster in all aspects,if ya know what i mean.

Arleen Bussing: probarly cos we get distrcted and hungry and make mistakes...computers will do it all day if programmed well

Justin Casten: If you talking raw processing power then no computers havent reached that level yet, MIT says the average brain is around 2.4-2.8ghz and computers are faster in CPU wise. But in memory and storage capcity the computer is 3-7yrs behind on the brain. The brain storage capacity it around 100TB-125TB of memory or 200 of the biggest HDD made today and the memory would be around 16-20GB of memory...Thanks

Collin Pelfrey: It depend on if the human is a genius or the computer has a very fast processor.

Darnell Cutliff: I think a computer works faster then a human. But in our days computers can work because humans control it. dough they work faster they don't have a heart. They are some electronic brains controled by humans. but they are just doing waht humans make him to do.

Kenneth Blacker: In some situations, yes. But computers don't have reasoning and abstract logic. Humans do.

Phil Kuarez: Computer is way faster than human in performing! calculation. Human is way faster than computer on visual reco! gnition, language interpretation, and other things related to feeling/emotion. No hardware can work on feeling/emotion than our brain.

Chanda Wittwer: Yes obviously

Mark Villifana: The anserw might want to be human, yet you want to play both. you should play human beings extra often(no longer an same participant), yet also play somewhat adverse to a chess computer that would challenge you.

Dulcie Edis: Yes but it was programmed by humans so it isnt better but yes it is faster. It does the same things the people that programmed it to do only it has more memory and therefore does it much faster.
