Miraculously in every bar/party/social gathering theres someone who's obviously single and ready to date you. Hermina Ketring: I think it all depends. I've been on a lot of dates that made me laugh because the entire time I was thinking, "This is like something out of Sex and the City!" I've gone on blind dates that remi! nd me of television shows, and usaully meeting someone in a bar or crowded place in a high volume city (like LA, where I'm from) does tend to be like those TV shows.. However, this is usually more of a going on dates and hooking up kind of thing, not a long term relationship. Usually if people stay together for a long time, there is an initial friendship beforehand.
