Keven Drumgole: We need some tax for defense, Foriegn trade & aid, interstate commerce, and administration of the federal government. The problem is the federal government has grown to control every aspect of our lives and everyone now expects it to solve every problem we have. It is impossible to do this.I say get rid of all departments that deal with individuals issues and just stick to national issues. Do away with the education dept. and let the state and local governments handle it. If a community chooses to have lousy education then so be it. If a community or state chooses to have a good or bad welfare system then so be it. If a community or state chooses to have no emergency responce teams then so be it. If a community or state chooses to be a drug infested gang controlled cesspool then so be it. Why should hard working law abiding good people have to pay for schools in some area whe! re the sorry people there choose to do nothing? The only thing I want my tax dollars to pay for is a bus ticket and a job for those that want out, and a bus ticket back for those that will not work and become an asset to society....Show more
Warren Kotter: I personally feel that there should be a FLAT TAX. Everyone should pay so much on every dollar. None of this BS where you tax him or her less or more based on income.
